Thank you Michael. I’m sitting at the vets and just read this. So beautiful - it reminds me of Michigan as a child and as an adult spending time in Northern Michigan. Nature is the natural equalizer and strips away all that other stuff…..reminds us of what is important, where the true power exists. Thank you for the beautiful words about your Mom. Lots of love, Mary D

Gee Mary, thank you. It’s funny but after I wrote this I thought of you and another friend who has had similar experiences and with grace and love.

Thank you. You’re so wonderful. Love, M

Beautiful. Tge story, sights y smells I can sense. I miss New England foliage after 23 years of tropics. Like the path ending, one is left wondering what your life will show you next as you teeter on the brink of change. Have a good time with your mom and live every moment you have. Abrazos from afar.

This is a gorgeous piece of writing. The New York that embraced for decades is sadly a very different place now, where creativity and originality are becoming non-existent. Your communing with nature and appreciating your surroundings in Massachusetts are palpable. And of course, your selflessness in caring for your elderly mom are beyond commendable.

Thank you. It’s quite a journey and adjustment as I look towards a new chapter, none of which I have any idea. X
